How It Got Started

I made the decision to separate from my then husband in 2017, not because I wanted to, I had to. I realized the law isn't like it is in the movies or on television. If I was going to get a fair settlement, I would have to become a member of my own legal team. My divorce lasted 35 months and I found the proof that got me what I considered a fair settlement. In the months that followed, I wrote The Dumb Blonde's Guide to Divorce to help others through the divorce process. I founded thedumbblondesguide.com with a mission to help other Blondies empower themselves.
